Audit of Disability Research in Australia Update Report 2017

Prof Gwynnyth Llewellyn,

Published Literature

The Audit of Disability Research in Australia (2014) reviewed the status of Australian disability research for the first time and identified existing evidence gaps. This report presents an update of the Audit three years after the original report. The goal of the Audit Update is to continue to build capacity, coherence and critical mass in disability research. The Audit Update provides a commentary on new scientific literature on disability, specifically in relation its usefulness to the Australian disability reform agenda. The report explores and proposes a suitable strategy for categorising, or applying a hierarchy of evidence, to the scientific literature on disability.
