Monica is a PhD candidate at the School of Public Health and Community Medicine at UNSW Australia.  She has a background in psychology and epidemiology with many years of experience in  dementia research, policy and care. Monica is particularly interested in the impact of cognitive impairment in marginalised groups (e.g. young onset dementia, the prison population, female victims of violence, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples).
