Deloitte Access Economics (DAE) was commissioned by the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) to undertake an economic study of muscular dystrophy (MD) in Australia. The aim of the study was to provide research evidence that assists in raising awareness about MD impacts, particularly on employment and family income and costs, as well as potential policy responses.
