The aim of this research, for the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, was to gain consensus among experts on the key principles, elements and sub-elements of child safe organisations. Key elements of child safe organisations were derived from a review of empirical research and existing organisational frameworks and guidelines globally. Addressing the particular needs of children with disability is addressed throughout the report.
