Online Resources

2011

Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC), through its commitment to partnering with and developing the sector has sought to explore avenues for attracting revenue into the disability NGO sector and building its asset base. The purpose of the project was to investigate potential arrangements for enabling NGOs to optimise their resources and access other sources of funding and finance in order to build capacity to grow, be sustainable, and deliver appropriate services and supports to the community.

The discussion paper presents:

• an analysis of the funding sources currently used by the NGO disability services sector

•a snapshot of various models and approaches to attracting funds and resources

•an analysis and application of the insights and learnings

• governments role in building capacity across a range of areas.
